One of my favs! This is a great unique stirling original. Very manly smell. Musk comes out first then a tobacco vanilla comes out swinging. Will always have a spot in my collection

Sweet but, not too sweet. Claims Tobacco in the description. I don't smell any Tobacco but, I do get a great, subtle, whiskey scent... it's a little boozy. Maybe it's just me. Think Christmas Rum Balls or, maybe a whiskey cake. Matches the shave soap very well.

A friend of mine in college gave me a sample vial of Stirling Gentleman many years ago, and I've been sure to never run out of it ever since. If you're looking for a masculine fragrance that is the perfect blend of strong and sweet, Stirling Gentleman is a must-have. It's a truly unique fragrance; I haven't found anything quite like it ever since being introduced to it. In my experience it's great as an everyday wear, but even better for special occasions, and especially date nights. Do yourself a favor and add this cologne to your collection, the women in your life will thank you for it.

The scent wasn't at all anything I thought it was going to be, I was hoping for something smokey with a sweet undertone. In actuality it smells like my father's poker night from the late 80s and early 90s. White Owls and Dutchman cigars with the scent of stale booze behind it. It brings back fond memories, but isn't pleasant to wear throughout an entire day. I love Stirling Soap Company's product, but this one is a disappointment and a hard pass for me.

A little while back I picked up a sample puck of the shave soap to give the scent a try. I was hooked from the first sniff! To me it's like a less cloying Tobacco Vanille (or Haverford from Stirling) with more tobacco and less vanilla. It's a tobacco forward scent with some sweetness from the vanilla, a bit or warmth from the amber, and a musky base that doesn't really become too prominent until well into wearing this stuff. This is one of only two scents that I ended up getting the full set with the shave soap, aftershave, EDT, and bath soap. The other one is Varen. Stirling did a great job with this one for sure. If you find Tobacco Vanille/Haverford a bit too cloying for you but you kinda like the scent then definitely try this one.

Every time I try a new scent I think it might be my favorite but this time I might have found it. Before this it was Sharp Dressed Man. I adore the tobacco smell, the vanilla and although I don't know what amber and musk smell like I guess I like them too! I have gotten comments every time I wear it.

I own 3 of Stirling's EDT's. They're an excellent value. The scents are long-lasting. This, coupled with the fine-mist spray dispenser, ensures they last a very long time. Between the products that I've purchased from Stirling and those that Rod & Mandy were kind enough to include as free samples, I've tried some 20 different scents. Honestly, I've liked all of them, but I think "Stirling Gentleman" may be the Stirling scent that I like the most. As always, another high-quality/high-value product from Stirling!
