Its good but a bit more strong aroma will given the 5 start

All Stirling soaps are very high quality in composition, and this one is no exception. The fragrance, however, was the most underwhelming one I've tried here. It smells like the old modeling clay you grew up playing with in elementary school in the 80s.

The scent wasn't at all anything I thought it was going to be, I was hoping for something smokey with a sweet undertone. In actuality it smells like my father's poker night from the late 80s and early 90s. White Owls and Dutchman cigars with the scent of stale booze behind it. It brings back fond memories, but isn't pleasant to wear throughout an entire day. I love Stirling Soap Company's product, but this one is a disappointment and a hard pass for me.

I have the EDT, Shave Soap and Aftershave along with this bar soap and am just blown away by the spot on scent profile that this emulates. I also get a nice lather and a moderate strength natural smelling aroma. Well done!

First time user—Musky, manly scent that immediately reminded me of a familiar (made by WD-40)soap I’ve used before, but this one made of old fashioned, clean ingredients. Left me feeling refreshed without overly dried skin, no need for moisturizer. Quality soap at lower than average price.

These folks yet again created a fragrance that compliments and nearly matches one of my favorite colognes. First they nailed it with Sandpiper (YSL La Nuit) and now it is Stirling Gentlemen and John Varvatos (signature) fragrance.

The combination of sweet musk/spice/Amber remind me more of leather and makes this such a subtle masculine fragrance. It's only a shame it doesn't come in a lotion, but this will definitely be in the rotation for me.

If you are a fan of John Varvatos (signature) fragrance...then buy this soap!

I had a female friend over on day and I showed her the soaps I got from Stirling. She really like the British Leather and I asked her did she want it. Let's just put this way...... I had to order another bar.

This soap works great. My wife and I love it. I personally wish the scent was a bit stronger but its still nice soap.

I used to get the stuff drummed out in the grocery stores (AX, Zest, Dial), and this soap, by far, out does them all in my opinion. I started out with Stirling's shave soaps when I switched to wet shaving. I was so impressed that I began trying their bath soaps, and nearly a year later, it seems almost laughable I used the previous grocery store stuff.
The scent on this one seems to be a favorite of my female co-workers. It hits that balanced level of fragrance just right. Wonderful soap at a great price. I hope you guys stay in business forever, because I don't want to switch again.

I shave in the shower and use Stirling Gentleman Soap because I love the smell, pure and simple. I use it before whipping up a thick lather of Stirling Gentleman Shave Soap. Oh sure it's got a lot of good things for your skin and all, but what I like best is when Blondie asks, "Is that you that smells so good." I smile and say "Yep!"

Have tried a few soaps from this company and this one doesn't fall far from the tree. Great scent, huge bar, exceptional cleaning, quality ingredients. What more can you ask for?! :)

I personally love the smell. I smelled it out of rhe box and it smelled..okay. But when i bathed with it, and shaved with the matching soap it was amazing. It's totally different when it's lathered/wet, it's like a blossoming flower; all the smells open up and breathe. It's incredible but it didn't last very long, maybe i took too long/hot of showers but it only lasted me maybe a week, so 14 uses. But i am more than happy of the experience it gave me so the only downfall is that it didn't last as long as i was hoping(:

I love the smell of this soap and it makes my skin feel healthy. The smell stays with you longer than other soaps I've used. I definitely recommend it.

I liked the idea of the fragrance. Then it showed up at my front door. It has easily become my favorite smelling soap that I've tried. I was little concerned at how my wife would react to it, but she loves the smell too.
