Another banger from Stirling Soap Company. I received this initially as a sample with a previous order and as soon as I got my nose on it, I knew I had to order the set.

Sol Cheirosa 62 EDP is much heavier on the caramel and has a distinct "burnt" smell to it. Praia is sweeter and lighter. Other than that it is very similar!

I cant get enough of this incredible scent. I wanted to get a bigger bottle but had to settle for the sample. Praia is incredible and I like it very much!

After reading the scent profile I got a sample of this. It is even better than I expected. With pistachio/almond/vanilla/caramel/salt it definitely is a food-heavy scent but it still works very well as an EDT. I just wanted to keep smelling it all day on the shirt I hit with a test spray.

So I looked up the scent it's inspired by Sol de Janiero Cheirosa 62. Supposedly it's marketed for women and I can see that. However it's food-scented nature to me is really more of a unisex thing. I'm not sure how closely Praia resembles Cheirosa 62 and if maybe Stirling's take is just less feminine. But in my brain food-scents aren't a gendered thing. As a man I'd comfortably wear this in the summer at the beach or something. Or I'd spray it just to smell it - it's that good.

The initial spray of this one is my favorite part which is unique since I'm usually after the dry-down for most fragrances. That's where the pistachio is the strongest and it blends perfectly with the cherry-like Almond and its' amazing. And it lasts for a good couple hours before it hits the dry-down which is also unique because scents usually settle after only 30 to 60 minutes.

The dry-down is where I can see how this scent leans feminine as the Almond starts to lose it's cherry forwardness and the vanilla and jasmine start to take over, and it becomes less of a neutral food-scent and a bit more perfumey. But by this time the scent has lost most of it's sillage and strength.

Overall it's a medium sillage and a medium staying power scent. It'll last a few hours but not all day. It's food-heavy but for me that's its draw - it smells delicious. It's feminine-leaning unisex in my opinion. Though on true reflection, it's something I'd rather be smelling than have on me, but I'll keep the sample around just in case.

It's pretty decent. I mean the original flor de Janeiro 62 cost 39$ or 45$ or more and this one its a decent imitation. Has the same smell of flor de Janeiro 62 yes , has the same potence no not even close but consider that cost me 25$ VS buy an original that cost 39$ , 45$ or more this is a pretty decent option for a lower price and also his potence is so ok that actually fits well as a male perfume.

Not quite sure but this scent reminds of a cologne I used to wear in my younger years. Great scent that lasts a long time. My wife likes it too & she’s like Morris the cat picky on any scent I wear so that is an A++ recommendation.

Great fragrance. My wife wears this a lot and it last all day.
