This is one my favorite soap which I order when I run out. Love the pine smell.

I've tried around 15 Stirling beard oil samples as I liked most of them. Some were just not for me even though I recognized them as being fine products. This is the first one that was just a hard pass. To my nose it smells like a budget holiday scented candle--like the type of scent that would come out of a seasonal Glade plug-in. And it is powerful in that regard. You have to go easy with all Stirling beard oils, but you have to go extra-easy with this one.

Started with some samples and very quickly decided ozarks was the big bottle is go with. I’ve been using it for months and plan on getting another once this one is empty.

I use this as both a preshave and beard oil for my circle beard. Both functions work great for me and the price is a good value. A 3 oz bottle lasts several months. The scent is one of my favorite Stirling scents. Good for all seasons.

My girlfriend loves this most out of all my beard oils. The spicy smell pine and flowers is quite enjoyable. This particular beard oil is a great Winter scent due to the pine, but is less overbearing than the holiday scents such as Christmas Tree. I find it also fits quite well for the Spring.

I got this oil in hopes of finding that spicy woodsy smell I imagine from walking through the deep woods with hints of other natural forage and maybe a touch of a wood stove deep in the distance. That's at least what I was hoping for after reading the scent description of "woodsy, spicy". Don't get me wrong, it does smell good, however I don't pick up a natural woods scent, but more of a Christmas pine candle. I like the smell of a good candle, but when I put on oil or use an artisan shave soap I'm not looking for a manufactured artificial scent, I look more for natural realistic scents or something of a respectable cologne. All I can think of is a fake wax pine candle with Ozark Mountain. I almost regret giving 3 stars on this review, but I don't get any of the wood or spice as described in the scent description and it just gives off too much of that very specific Christmas occasion scent. Not something I'd recommend for just any time or occasion. Pretty specific, and I'd say pairing this with a winter wonderland would be a good time. I've actually given thought to utilize this oil during late whitetail hunting season as a cover scent while sitting in the pines of Up State NY.
The performance of this oil is still to the standard of Stirling, and a little bit goes a long ways. Just a modest amount is all I needed to maintain a fresh scented beard all day.
The bottle won't be wasted, but it will get very limited use throughout my beard oil rotation. Can't win'em all!

I picked up the preshave, shave soap, balm and aftershave and I'm looking forward to using them during Christmas time. It's a great scent and as always Pairs with an amazing soap. If you're on the fence pick up a sample of the shave soap and see if it's for you. I think you'll like it.
