Great product, smooth shave, great smell

The scent is nice and not too overwhelming. The soap is very moisturizing when shaving. Love this as my first go-to scent!

Whoever wrote the review, love the soap but where is the scent....was dead on. The color is pretty cool. But honestly if you told me I got the unscented one, I would believe you. It's just not there.

Can't say I love this one. Like all Stirling soaps the lather and shave are top notch. However, I find the fragrance to be a little too body-spray-artificial for my liking, which is exacerbated by the blue hue that rarely occurs in nature

A terrific shvae soap, great lather, smooth and slick. Razor glides through this formualtation to give a comforatable shvae. The Island scent is refreshing without be over powering, The splash is soothing. A terrific soap for the summer shave.

This is my favorite scent from Stirling so far. Lather is great as usual with all their shaving soaps.

As with all striling soaps great lather, slick, wonderful shave. If you’re questioning the purchase, it’s well worth it. I’m so glad I found stirling soaps, by far my favorite shave company, every product not just this one has exceeded expectations.

I have been using this for several months now and I really like it. In fact, I like it enough that I bought two more pucks to get me through the next year.

This soap has excellent, excellent, excellent staying power. Hours and hours. Very, very nice!

Very pleasant aroma. Interesting green colored base. Found it’s best to wet surface with spray, just damp brush and then work lather in shaving bowl. Lather is good, but not great. Perhaps will improve as I gain more experience with this soap.

I can't decide which is my favorite scented shave soap from Stirling! I think it may be this one. It is fresh and makes a great lather. But then again, so do all of the shave soaps I've received. They are my only go to for shave soaps, balms, etc. Thank you folks!!

Very nice scent - not overpowering. Good lathering and slickness. I did find out that it takes less water to lather this soft soap. I'm still working my way through the sample pack.

While I was still recording my Shave Channel on Youtube I tried Sterling Island man but when I went to reorder it I quickly found out that Sterling only sold this one as a summer seasonal. Well you can't stop me now from using it all year because I just got some more finally. To say I LOVE this Scent and Soap would be the biggest understatement ever made. Just love how strong it is and it gives the bathroom the best scent ever~!

This was part of my first order with Stirling and I love this soap and scent. I also have the matching splash and I love that too. If you haven't tried Stirling give them a try... you won't be sorry.

I do not know how the Creed version smells, but this one is very pleasant and gets a lot of loving compliments from my fiance. Reminds me of a relaxing beach day.

Lasts about 5 hours or so from one small spray to the wrist and then rubbed on the neck.

As I described with the aftershave splash, the soap is pleasant. I haven’t used it yet, but still a pleasant scent to work with.

Such an amazing aquatic scent! Instantly transports you to tropical island paradise.

First, the soap is slick, easy to load, and little makes a lot of lather. Shave was closer than with other products without any nicks or weepers. For that reason alone, it is a real bargain at the price, and gets 5 stars. Island man is all over the place as far as, or lack of, scent goes. The only thing I can detect is a slight orange fragrance that fortunately isn't that strong. I can honestly say it smells a little better than unscented offerings I have tried but not by much. Fortunately, I also bought the splash which is OK and adds some flavor when I want it.

I'm still very satisfied with the shaves I am getting, but disappointed that I need a splash with it. I will be a customer again because I shave with soap, and scent is really just an afterthought. Maybe I'll put on some Hawaiian tropic for the "beach" smell.

Unfortunately, I haven’t been to a beach since the 80’s. However, sometimes I open the tub of Island Man & the scent makes me feel like I’m by the ocean! I tried a sample from of this in 2021 & knew I’d be adding the full size at some point. Absolutely one of my favorite scents! Just evokes the clean scent you get near some water. I’d definitely put it in my top 2 shave soap scents. Just so extremely pleasant.

As far as performance, it’s Stirling. Do I need to comment? Always outstanding! I know this is only available during the summer months so I’d grab this one while you can.

I am a first-time customer and I will definitely be a regular customer from now on. My order came in today and I couldn't wait to use it. The smell was amazing, and the lather was out of this world. Awesome product! I have no idea why I haven't ordered from Sterling sooner, but I am glad I remedied that mistake.
