Great summer scent, if you have ever been to the Caribbean then you will love this scent. It reminds me of sitting at an open bar on the beach with the wind blowing and carrying all the tropical flavors around with it, with this A.S. I can close my eyes and I'm there. This year the scent is lasting all day which is a plus, thanks again Stirling.

Great scent. I don't find it to be too strong. Very refreshing and citrus forward to my nose. It helps uplift me in the morning before work. I wish this was an all-year-round product!!

Several years ago, I bought a bottle of Bonaire aftershave by Oleo Soapworks. I loved it and most importantly, my wife loved it. Then it went from hard to find to impossible to find. After much google searching, I found a reference to Island Man on a Reddit thread and jumped on it. The smell is fantastic. The menthol is spot on. Most importantly, my wife agrees.

I never tried it until recently. It smells like Virgin Island Water by Creed. I love it.

Leaves your face feeling good, but for me the scent is over the top citrus. So much in fact that it overpowers everything else in the blend. I'm sure others will like it, but citrus just isn't my scent.

I just finished Shaving and used this as my post-shave routine. Before applying the Island Man Aftershave Splash, I used some Island Man Lotion and body butter, rubbed that in, and then applied the Island Man Aftershave Splash. Great combination. I have found most of the Stirling Scents I use (shave soaps, bath soaps, Aftershave Splashes, lotions and body butters) seem to complement each other. For this shave, I worked up a good lather using both Sharp Dressed Man and MITA shave soap, with some added menthol drops. Great Shaving experience.

First time ever trying an aftershave and wow... wow in the sense I didn't expect the tingling slightly burning sensation when applying it and wow AFTER that's done. What an amazing aftershave, about 8 hours later and my face still smells of the scent lightly. I absolutely love it.

Two stars only because it is lighter and more fleeting than Lucky Tiger aftershave splash.

When you slap on Island Man, you'll feel like you're on a beach and you've fallen face-first into a patch of tropical flowers and citrus fruits. It's a great aftershave for the warm weather!

BOOM.... love this AS. Having used it a few weeks (menthol added) it is rapidly becoming one of my favorites. Very refreshing and reminds me of the Proraso Green splash. Nice job Stirling. Just wish your AS would have a little more staying power....

This is the first aftershave splash I purchased from Stirling and I am already obsessed! I had menthol added to mine. I put it on after a shower and the smell was so tropical, I felt like it was carrying me away to a paradise outside my city. The added menthol made my face feel so cool and breezy as I stepped into the thick, humid air outside my apartment. My mantra every time I put this on will be: "I am the Island Man! I am the Island Man!"

This is a fresh clean scent. Definitely a spring or summer scent. One of my favorite Stirling scents. I have the bath soap also. The scent, at least on me, lasts for hours. The face feel is awesome as with all of Stirling’s aftershaves. I wish this was available all year.

Best aftershave I've ever used!!!

I got this with the Glacial menthol added. What a sweet smelling crisp refreshing end to a shave. I might get some menthol added to most of my Stirling products from here on. Great addition!

My wife picked this one out as a gift for me, because she says she likes the beach. She loves when I wear this because the scent takes her on vacation. Going to add this to my summer rotation.

I'm loving this scent! A very unique and different scent from anything else in my shave den. Right off the top I get the lime & coconut. This scent develops throughout the hours and it only gets better as the minutes tick by. Very happy with this AS. The post shave feel is excellent. Happy to have it in my inventory. Thank you!

Nice aftershave! Has a nice sweet scent with a hint of floral notes that has just a tiny bit of a spicy/rum scent at the end. Totally reminds me of a nice day at the beach having a sweet rum flavored drink on the carribean islands! The scent isn't super strong but it stays a long time. Once it fades out a bit that's when you can pick up more of the floral and sweet scents to it. Great splash for any sweet soaps you use! I have paired it with glacial lemon chill only but it works real good. The spicy notes in the background really make this aftershave nice. It's almost like a lemon scented bay rum with a floral note to it. Overall it works great for the skin and smells pleasent. Thanks Rod!

Very nice scent!!

I've got a treasured 50 ml decant of VIW cologne that I use sparingly (to make it last as long as possible!) and this aftershave is a GREAT homage to it. While the scent may not be 100% similar, it is REALLY close to my nose and works well standalone and in combination with Creed's original. This stuff is like immersing yourself in a 5 star Caribbean beach resort with top shelf fruity drinks coming to your beach chair nonstop - fantastic coconutty, citrusy, classy rum notes with a hint of sun and salt air. Well done Stirling!

The name and description shout summer vacation, but this splash perfect any time. It's the aftershave version of "work hard, play hard." I didn't find it to be overly fruity or tropical, just a really great combination of aromas that all complement each other perfectly. I love that quick burn right after applying it and once it fades, the witch hazel, aloe and glycerin really make my face feel moisturized and well-protected. Some have said the scent fades too quickly, but I find that it diminishes just enough so that it's "just there" all day.

This is my first order with Stirling and absolutely will not be my last.
