Autumn Essential Oil

This scent smells like Autumn. It's an awesome, comforting smell. My wife is very sensitive to fragrances, so I can't use it very often. I sure wish I could though! The base for all of the aftershave splashes is amazing. Gives a great feeling post shave.

Nice Scent

My wife says it smells like Christmas. Maybe a mulled cider? The first time I applied it I was impressed with the burn. Hot was quite hot, but now that I know it's coming I absolutely love it! Doesn't seem to dry my skin as much as other splashes. If you don't care for mentholated products I don't think this would be for you.

It’s going to be great in the late fall

Refreshingly Warm: The Perfect Fall Finish with Hot Apple Cider Aftershave Splash

After finishing my shave, I applied the Hot Apple Cider aftershave splash, and it was the perfect follow-up. The splash provides a refreshing burst of coolness, which is a delightful contrast to the warmth of the scent. It contains just the right amount of alcohol and witch hazel to tighten and tone the skin, while the fragrance lingers in a subtle, soothing way. The aftershave splash left my skin feeling revitalized and balanced — not too dry, but perfectly refreshed.

Hot Apple Cider aftershave

Reminds me of cool fall days sitting outside with a mug of hot apple cider, enjoying the view of the surrounding mountains. This scent captures all that and lingers all day. one of my favorites from Stirling.

Fantastic Winter Scent

It is what it says it is. Apples and cinnamon. My wife normally doesn’t like scents that are “foodie”, but she almost purrs that I smell good when I wear this one. It has serious hang time, but dries down to just sort of a warm cinnamon. Get compliments all the time. Killer winter scent.

Not that hot, but very warm

I really like the scent of this AS. Yes it is kind of hot when first applied, but I found it no hotter than a lot of Bay Rum aftershaves. I like the heat, then it cools down leaving your face feeling soft and smooth. A great fall AS.

10-Oct

My girlfriend and I both absolutely love this aftershave, it smells amazing and she can't get enough of it
I originally got a small sample bottle of Hot Apple Cider, and the cinnamon somewhat irritated me (though the cinnamon in Pumpkin Spice is on a whole nother level) but she loved it so much so I decided to take the plunge and get the full bottle, though, small tip.
If your skin gets irritated by the cinnamon, try getting it with the "Regular Menthol" option. I personally like menthol, not in glacial amounts, but I like it nonetheless. Adding menthol absolutely negated the irritation that usually came with this aftershave for me, and it feels damn weird, in a good way.
Try it!

You either love it or hate it

I bought this to compliment the soap. I can see where some people say it feels like setting your face on fire 😄. You WILL most definitely feel the cinnamon on your face after a fresh shave. It's a nice wake up call in the morning. After a few short seconds the cinnamon tingling goes away and your left feeling refreshed and smelling great. This after splash left me no redness and no irritation.

Great for cold weathers

This aftershave does burn my face a bit after use. However, that is the effect I want for the cold weather. However, be careful when choosing the amount to use. Apply a small amount or you might feel like Nicolas Cage when he turned into the Ghost Rider.

Best Autumn Scent

This, to me, is the greatest autumn scent. Yes, it has cinnamon. Yes, it has lots of cinnamon. If you have irritable skin, or sensitive skin, you may want to look for another fall scent. But, if you have normal skin, then you can do no better than Hot Apple Cider from Stirling Soaps. Apples and cinnamon and clove make for a delicious, warming fall scent that brings my mind back to the fall festivals of my youth, when the air was crisp, cider was drank, and candy apples eaten.

Big fan of the shaving soap, but way too much cinnamon in the aftershave

I bought both the shaving soap and the aftershave together. The scent is exclusively apples and cinnamon - no clove notes whatsoever. Very fruit forward, slightly effeminate as the apple scent is cloying.

As noted by Sterling, both contain cinnamon which produces a slight tingling sensation in the shave soap. But the cinnamon sensation is much, much more intense in the aftershave - so much so that it's actually unpleasant to use. Unlike the shave soap, the aftershave burns my skin, leaving it red and irritated. I would not recommend this product, but would recommend other Sterling soaps including the Hot Apple Cider shave soap.
