This is easily my favorite shave soap I've tried. I can't seem to find any just mint soaps, and this fit the bill perfectly. Not only does it smell good, but it produces an amazing lather that is silky smooth and my razor gildes across it with no issues. I hope they make more of all of the shaving products with this scent!

Nice brush. Soft bristles. Great at mixing the soap foam.

I have sensitive skin when shaving. This smelled fine, but burned when I shaved with it. My kids loved it though as air freshener.

Quality is great as usual but the smell would be much better described as chocolate peppermint. Dont really love it

Lathers better than any I got. Shaved with it every day since it arrived. Still not sure oif the sent, but it last all day. Like many other reviews, wish the mint was on top with a chocolate bottom. You all a great company.

Very strong scent of mint and chocolate. It smells like what mint chocolate chip tastes like. It'll definitely wake you up in the morning! Top notch performance

Candy Cane is an amazing soap, I love the holiday season and for me it’s combo of a true Candy Cane and also it has a hint of Chocolate like a Peppermint Bark and both I really enjoy, Thank you again for making this soap .

Tried this in a sample and it was great, so I got it in a larger quantity and seems even better, great rich lather and scent. Another winner from Stirling!

I was hoping for a bit more peppermint but what a soap! Super high level like tabac, fantastic cushion.

The peppermint/chocolate scent is well balanced and the great quality of Stirling soap makes it a winner!

I like seasonal soaps like Candy Cane. I read some reviews that stated it smelled like Tootsie Rolls. I was not able to distinguish a deep chocolate scent. I can smell a lighter chocolate scent. I am not saying that the reviewers detecting a strong chocolate scent were wrong. I am just saying that I cannot detect a strong scent.

Wonderful soap, great scent. Not what I think when I think of candy cane. More like a peppermint patty, or a mint brownie. Still a great scent though! 5 stars.

I went all in on this scent, and now I wish I’d read the reviews first.

I was hoping to finally have the nice, strongly minty scent I’ve been craving. Instead, as the title states, this soap smells more like Tootsie Rolls, and that scent lingers too. If there is any mint in here, it is overpowered.

Like all of Stirling’s products, the soap is a great soap at its base, so if you like the idea of smelling like chocolate candy, this is a great product for you. But if you’re looking for “a true candy cane scent. It's peppermint in your face with a little sweetness” (quote directly from product description as of the time this review was written) like I was, you will be sorely disappointed.

This one wasn't my favorite scent. That being said the soap itself is top notch. It has a chocolate smell to it. It reminds me more of a peppermint patty over a candy cane. That being said it's a quality product, And these sample sizes are huge! I got probably 20 or 30 shaves at least scooping into a lather bowl.

Just purchased this candy cane shaving soap the soap has more chocolate than candy cane the candy cane and the soap is on the end note overwhelmed with chocolate however the two blend very very well no complaints just wish there was more candy cane to it however there's always peppermint great job Sterling on a wonderful soap

Great performance but definitely not the scent for me.

Fantastic!!! This was my first foray into shave soaps (always used creams and gels before) and I couldn't have picked a better soap. The lather was beautiful. The scent is more like chocolate peppermint bark which is really pleasant (I need to find a beard oil with a similar profile now lol). This will definitely be a go to for the Christmas season!

Definitely chocolate mint, smells more like Thin Mint cookies than Candy Cane. If you’re just expecting sweet peppermint, probably not the ideal choice.

I used the bar soap before these became shaving products. Great smell. I'm glad they made this.

This soap doesn't have an unpleasant odor and it works just fine but it doesn't smell like any candy cane I've even encountered in my entire life. It's definitely not what I was expecting by the name.

Performance is excellent as always. The scent is great as well; as previously described, there is definitely a chocolate undertone but the peppermint is not lost. I can also pick up the vanilla notes as well. Going to stay in my rotation for sure!

I ordered this expecting a true candy cane scent and that’s not what this is. This is definitely a peppermint hot chocolate and I like that even better! It has a very rich, chocolate scent under the peppermint which is just delicious. Great performance too as always!

This is one of my favorite bar soap scents. Like the first reviewer, I also asked for a shave soap and here it is. Ask and ye shall recieve. This is more a very rich dark chocolate peppermint than a conventional candy cane. Not overly Christmas-oriented at all. This will go into my regular rotation along with Creamy Coconut (hope this goes annual) and Electric Sheep (instant classic). Very, very nice. I will buy more in case this doesn't make it as an annual scent (which would be very unfortunate). Performs just as well as all Stirling soaps I've tried: slick and protective.

I wrote Stirling a while ago asking for a candy cane shave soap to pair with the bar soap. My requested has been fulfilled! They truly knocked it out the park with this creation. It’s a hot cocoa peppermint with very little menthol in in. The smell is fantastic and the limited menthol is perfect for those sensitive to it. The slickness is the best which we all know Stirling does better than every other company out there. I’m hoping they keep this as a yearly seasonal product. I will most definitely be stocking up! Excellent shave soap.
