This is amazing. I thought an Eau de Toilette was more like a cologne (despite learning about the differences from a tour of a master perfumer in France; I'm told I wasn't paying enough attention). But this is much more versatile. It's like an all-purpose body splash for men, and the scent is the best I've encountered in my 36 years on the planet. It's warm, and inviting, and--without going into detail--it serves its purpose. Beautifully. Hurry up and try it before I buy the rest. Because I will. Seriously.

The rum note really comes through, but not like the drink, more like rum balls with a fruity background. It's an unusual scent that I really like, and makes me think of relaxing in the shade while the sun is shining.

The banana and coconut can have an almost chocolate scent when it's first applied, which softens into a gentle floral, rum, banana/coconut scent in the as it dries over the next few minutes.

Reading the description I was expecting a light, fruity scent. It's definitely fruity, but richer than I thought it would be. The rum note comes through strong, especially at the drydown. I like this scent quite a bit, just not what I was anticipating at first glance.
