I am not fond those fruity, flowery, gelatinous shampoos that seen all the rage now.This round bar fits in my hand as it wears down so no lost bar on the floor of the shower. The best part, it smells the way I want to smell after a shampoo.
I have definite preferences, some say at 75 I'm set in my way. Well what ever the case, long ago I found Bay Rum was pretty consistent in scent and performance over the years, and independent of manufacturers. Well, getting old means that your go to suppliers pass on and you are left searching for replacements. I found Stirling Soap Company back a few years when I lived in Alaska; this Bay Rum is as close to perfection as we can get., and it is consistent across all their products, from Shave Balm to hand soap, shampoo bar , and Eau de Toilette! Stirling Soap Products have proven to be dependable, and the people are friendly and helpful.

This shampoo bar is a classic with a nice upgrade on bay rum. Reminds me of the scent my grandfather was partial to, but with a more modern take. Decent lather, clean rinse, handsome gentleman scent. A classic and a keeper!

Great scent like the rest of Stirling's Bay Rum line, but performance seems just a little under some other Stirling shampoo bars... I feel like I have to use a little extra to get it to work the way I want it to.

I received a sample of this in an order. It lathers great and smells great, but it's a bit too heavy for my hair. This would probably be really good for someone with really dry hair.
