Bay rum is perfect on its own. I don't mind the other ingredients. But the clove oil overwhelms the other scents and is irritating to my skin. Clove oil is a Sensitizer in high doeses and I think this is boarderline.

Using it now and have never used shaving oil before. This products seems to work as advertised and I like everything about it.

Enjoyed the scent of this. It causes a warming sensation when applied. Just started using pre-shave oil and found it to help.

Oil and balm do what they are advertised to do. The oil is very good for pre shave. The scent however is not subtle at all! My wife claims it smell’s like medicine. It has a strong spice scent. The triumph is what I have used in the past which is awesome and subtle. Good company and products, not a great scent however.

I'm sorry for not trying this sooner as it's one of the best beard oils I've ever used. It leaves the hair soft and hydrated. If you know this Bay Rum it smells just like the splash, probably a little strong for beard oil but I don't mind it.

Arrived 3 days early. Smells really similar to another beard oil I had called "bourbon barrel". Strong clove scent with hints of cinnamon and vanilla. I was worried it wouldn't be very high quality because of the price but it's actually really good. $16 for 3 oz

I use this for a pre shave when I am in a hurry. Softens my beard quickly!! Make for a smooth shave.

I liked it, but to me it's stronger than the traditional Bay Rum stuff I've purchased from other vendors - I know as soon as I put it on, both my wife and I said it smelled like Christmas...

I ordered this as a sample some time ago. I did not care for it as a pre-shave oil but have been very pleased with it for after-shave application. I really like the fragrance and appreciate the oil for my dry skin.
