WOW!! This is the 1st time trying Autumn Glory and I cannot fully describe the scent but it is amazing... Outdoors, falling leaves, and a bit of petrichor.. Definitely treat yourself with this scent.

Why is Autumn Glory awesome? Aside from the wonderful lather and cushion, it's like a beautiful midwest fall day; the clear blue sky highlights orange, red, and brown leaves falling from trees. The slight chill makes the air smell magical.This is my absolute favorite fall shave soap!

This scent is so amazing and everything it smells exactly like fall and I highly recommend it guys get you a couple of them.

Stirling soaps are the best. The lather is great as always. Not my fave scent but I'll be using it this fall.

A scent that puts you outside on a cool fall day just after a gentle rain. I greatly enjoy this scent

when I was growing up we had a tree in our Yard. every Autumn it would rain and the leaves would fall to the ground. my parents would be carrying in wood for our wood stove and Id catch smells similar to what you get with this Shave Soap.

it just reminds me of a wet overcast gloomy fall day and I like that. as always the soap itself performs as you'd expect

Wasn't sure what to expect with it,so I bought a sample puck and boy howdy it's the embodiment of mid-fall.
At first I was disappointed the smell wasn't all that strong, but after lathering up and shaving the scent stuck around for longer than expected.
If I were to describe the scent, it reminds me of a more mature and higher quality version of those scented crayons a lot of us had back in elementary school. Specifically the woods and dirt ones with a touch of fir tree. There's a very mild musk to it, but not musky. More like musk's more tame son who went to university. Not sure what it is, but I'm guessing it's the "masculine" smell that other reviews came up with.
Walking out the door and into the autumn morning, it all made sense. Really came together.

Received today as part of an order. Wonderful scent. Certainly has a crispness to it, highly masculine.

This is not your typical fall scent. It’s a lot more bright and uplifting! Think of this soap as representing a sunny fall morning after it has rained overnight. Fantastic!

I wasn't sure about this when I first received it. But I think this will be a longtime favorite. Ended up ordering the Autumn Glory regular aftershave and Autumn Glory EDT only days after trying the soap. Great shave and compliments on how good I smelled.

Florida is about as far away from an autumn scent that you can get. It's usually tire shops and wet plywood. So when this came around, it does remind me a lot of fall back home in the Midwest. Not so much the fallen leaves, damp earth vibe...but more just the general romanticizing by those who aren't there anymore and this scent does that. As always, YMMV. The spousal unit had pretty much the same sentiment upon getting the waft post-shave. A keeper. 5 stars.

I bought the Stirling Autumn Glory Shave Soap from Pasteur Shaving. Having read the item description on Stirling's website, I couldn't wait and was able to find it online in early August.

The shave soap provides for a smooth shave, with great post shave feel, especially when using the Autumn Glory Aftershave Splash. Also, a great scent.

After reading the scent description, I knew that I would probably like this one. I had it in my mind what I thought it would smell like and I have to say, it smells better than expected.

While it may have the word Autumn in the name, I will be wearing this scent year-round.

I'm not a fan of Stirling's dupes. Neither am I a fan of the originals they duplicate. In my reckoning you're either mass market or alt. Anyway, Autumn Glory is the polar opposite of perfume counter blockbusters. It's subtle, complex, and redolent of the soft, slightly rotten scent of wet leaves in November -- nostalgic, yearning and mournful. It will speak to only a handful of users, but to them it will speak as directly as a favourite song or forgotten spot on a bench in one's youth. Magnificent in the softest possible way.

I feel like I'm back home in the Pineywoods of East Texas sitting out on the back porch with this... pine needles, just pine needles with some trace scents of other woods. It's alright on occasion, but definitely not in the regular rotation for me. I experimented and mixed a bit of this with a bit of Stirling Pumpkin Spice Soap and it smoothed it out a little... like eating dessert with the family out on the back porch after dinner.

Great physical properties as always. Scent is just not for me. My scent palette isn’t very sophisticated so I basically just notice the “main scent”. Which for this one and me is citronella. Wasn’t pleased so moved on to next sample.

Soap quality is excellent. Great slickness, etc. Based on the description and reviews I read, I was expecting a much more earthy, leafy scent. It struck me as much more lively and citrus-oriented. The citrus way out front and super loud- a bit too much for my taste, frankly. I do pick up the spicy undertones. It's aptly named, however. The citrus evokes orange leaves and the spice evokes holiday baked goods. Vivaldi's Autumn- that's what this soap is like. If you like citrus notes, you are bound to like this and vice versa. Citrus is not my go-to, but this still works for me as a cold weather soap when I want something a little different and more on the refreshing side than, say, a bay rum.

I wasn’t expecting to like Autumn Glory but when I friend of mine got it and they put a soap sample in my last order I changed my mind. I now have a shave jar. Smells like Fall which is a good thing.

So I love it and I don't at the same time.
I love it because it was a very nice smooth warming scent of dead leaves and dirt and maybe a cologne accent?

I don't because it smells just like the ground to me during the fall.

I keep wanting to smell it while it's on my face and hands.

Definitely worth a buy but still debating if I will pick it up since I'll only use it during the fall season and have two other fall soaps that need to be used up.

This soap and scent are amazing. It is definitely a fall scent and the description is spot on. It is a complex scent that definitely reminds me of a beautiful Autumn morning. The performance of the soap is outstanding as it always is with Stirling soaps.

My sweet wife asked me if I was was to order a new flavor of shave soap, what would it be?
After reading all of the reviews well in advance of her inquiry, I told her "Autumn Glory".
Well, my Christmas present came today and the shipping label tipped me off as to what she had done.
If the reviews are as good as they were when I ordered "Barbershop" and "Coniferous" then I'm positive I'll be more than satisfied. 😁

It was hard to determine what this scent would actually be so I bought the sample size. After using the scent strength is mid (4/5 out of 10) and is exactly what you would smell if you stepped out of your house on a typical Fall day, think of overcast, wet and everything is damp the grass, leaves etc. I will be purchasing the regular size puck in this scent.

The scent description is a little vague, but I found it to be spot on. It smells earthy, like wet leaves in the morning. It smells very natural and autumnal to me. Masculine too. I thoroughly enjoy it.
It just about goes without saying on this site, but the performance of the soap is absolutely fantastic as always.

The performance is superb but the Autumn Glory scent is not for everyone. If you think you’re going to smell twigs, leaves, and earthy undertones, you’ll be disappointed. This scent has a chemical smell with a hint of cologne. I tried to sit it out for a few days to air it out but it didn’t work. For me I’m not a huge fan. I’ll use it since I bought it, but when I bowl lather I’ll put a spritz of my favorite cologne to enhance the scent.

I am a HUGE fan of Stirling Soaps: quality of the soap (shaving and bath), the performance of the soap (shaving and bath) are all top-notch, but unfortunately for the first time I'm confused with the description of Autumn Glory and the scent in the soap. Hands down this is far from Autumn, like the description states (..."...difficult to describe...."). I would not even catagoize this as Autumn, and would go as far as saying it has a scent of "...the end of Winter beginning of Spring on a wet/cool/stroll in the woods near a creek..." Again, truly confused on the scent...However, I will use it in my rotation, but I'll be reaching for my other Stirling Soaps before this one....

Not sure how you do it, but this scent is dead on FALL! It is a balanced aroma of dry earth, dry leaves, crisp air and smoke. It comes together to smell fantastic. It reminds me of being on an autumn camping trip. The scent is very rustic and outdoorsy feeling. Being an avid backpacker and camper, I can see wearing this year round, even of the blazing hot southern California summer days.
