First time I've ordered and used a beard oil, and it won't be my last. Terre d'Hermes is probably my favorite fragrance, and this goes very well with it.

This leaves a low shine on my beard and keeps it smooth and feeling moisturized, and the skin underneath feeling refreshed.

Good quality pre shave oil, only need a small amount to be effective. Softens the beard and adds slickness to the shave, less skin irritation too. Always good quality products from Stirling Soap.

Good stuff

This is my 8th of 9 samples and it just busted into my top 3. Combine "clean" and "fresh" traditional bar soap scent with moist earth after a spring rain shower, and you get this. I love fresh scents, but a lot of times fresh scents can come off a little juvenile. The earthy and spicy notes in Arkadia make this fresh but mature, but not overly mature. This scent says "I just took a shower, and I contribute responsibly to my 401k." Light and fresh enough to be a daily driver, but also complex enough to be a little more formal. You can easily dress this up or down, it's very versatile.

One of my other favorites Stirling beard oils is Hipster, and I think Hipster and Arkadia are somewhat similar. They're both fresh-clean type scents, but they diverge in formality. Either are flexible enough to be worn pretty much anywhere, but I'd say Hipster leans more jeans-and-t-shirt while Arkadia leans more button-down-and-dress-pants. Or said otherwise, Hipster feels more 20/30s, Arkadia feels more 30/40s. Personally I will be wearing and enjoying both.

I was converted to shave and beard oils about a year ago and prefer them to match the shave soaps, balm and cologne. This not only is a great quality oil (and I've had some bad ones to know better), the scent matches up with the Hermes very well. Will definitely buy it again.

Stirling shave oil is the only brand of shave oil I will purchase. I've tried many others. the formular works well and the quality and value of this product is excellent. This is a really nice scent goes well with most soaps. Try some other scents as well , I liked every one so far. Highly recommend , for less money than 1-2 oz of other brands that just don't perform as well as this does.
